Sicky weekend

It all started Friday night, Avah started puking, it was a long night, then in the morning Dal was sick too, both of them with fevers and puking and not keeping anything down! Made for a long day and an even longer night! Avah was up every 2 hours, you know it is a long night when you have gone through all the spare bedding in one night!! :(  I have closed the daycare today to lysol and bleach everything, and should be back to "normal" tomorrow!

On a funnier note, my little brother phoned me 3 times yesterday!!! Yes he wanted something!!  He wanted to know what was for dinner!! 

My brother is good for some laughs!!! This is how our conversation went: (C - my brother, L - Me)

5:03pm

C- What you having for dinner, I need  to cook something?

L- Leftovers lol

C- whats that?

L- Sausages, noodles and broccoli with hollandaise

C- Oh I can't do that!  This is what I got : 2 mangoes, some milk, HP sauce, ketchup and eggs, so what can I make with that?

L- I am laughing, and then say not too much!  You need some basic stuff in you house so that you could actually cook something!

C- ok I'll make a list!...................a crap where is a pen? ( He is in his 4 th year University and doesn't have a pen!!!)  I would use my phone but Im talking to you, oh  I found a pen!

L- Some basics are noodles, rice, meat like hamburger, pork chops, chicken, frozen veggies

C- I want chicken, now what?

L- Well what else do you want?

C- Broccoli, and hollandaise sauce, oh how about rice!  What kind of rice to I buy?

L- What ever kind you want! ( I also explained to him where to buy everything in the grocery store!)

C- Ok I 'll phone you back when I have the supplies!

L- Bye!  ( I hang up the phone and laugh and wonder how he manages!! and still laughing over the 2 mangoes and the supplies!!  I think they are called ingriedients, well thats what my kids and I call them!!)

5:53pm

C- Ok how do I cook this chicken?

L- put the breasts on the pan and and put some BBQ sauce on it! and put them in the ove at 400 for about 20 minutes!

C- I bought microwave rice, so this broccoli, do I just put the whole tree in some water?

L - LMAO, no you need to cut it up, I guess you don't have a steamer, so you will have to put in the water!

C- and the hollandaise sauce! How much is 250ml?

L- a cup, and read the instructions on the package!!

C- Ok I'll send you picture when it is done!

L- ok

C-  I might phone you again

L- ok bye (I wonder who is going to do dishes!!!!)

So at about 6:30pm I got a picture!! Here it is:

Looks pretty good, man does he make me laugh!!!  We also talked about that he could make spaghetti but he thought that was like step 2, and a little advanced! lol, Oh my brother I love you!!! You make me laugh!  I think at 7pm I got a text saying the dishes were done!! lol
